Okay, I’m finally giving in and writing 25 random things about myself. I definitely wasn’t one of the early adopters of this phenomenon, convinced that this was a silly fad that would pass. But now that even GE has posted a 25 things list, I suppose it’s time for me to jump on the bandwagon. Here we go…

1. I’m lucky. Unlike some people who simply enter a profession to make a living, I love what I do. The strategic use of social media in public relations fascinates me.

2. It is my philosophy that relationship building is at the root of all effective public relations practices.

3. Twitter is my favorite social networking platform.

4. I’m a PC, not a Mac.

5. That said, I love Apple products and am addicted to my iPhone.

6. Nike, Pepsi & Xbox are brands that I love.

7. The two years I spent getting my master’s degree at Kent State were two of the best years of my life.

8. I’m Polish/Slovak and proud of it!

9. I credit my parents for making me who I am. They are my best friends, and I have more respect for them than anyone else I know.

10. I believe that when something good happens to you, you should make a point to do something nice for someone else, even if it be an act of kindness to a complete stranger.

11. I believe that with God, all things are possible.

12. As some of you know, I interview celebrities for the online entertainment site The Trades. I’ve had the privilege to interview many terrific people, but Tom Cruise, Zachary Levi, Elizabeth Mitchell, Damon Lindelof and Bond writers Robert Wade and Neal Purvis are some of the nicest, most genuine people I’ve interviewed.

13. I am one of Manchester United’s 333 million fans.

14. Soccer is my favorite sport. I wish I could strike a soccer ball as expertly as Cristiano Ronaldo does.

15. Baseball is my least favorite sport. It’s just too slow.

16. During the NBA playoffs, the Q becomes my second home.

17. My favorite video game is FIFA 09. I’d play it all day if I could.

18. I would rather drink a Pepsi than a bottle of beer.

19. Aside from Cleveland, Pittsburgh is one of my favorite cities. Go Steelers!

20. My favorite bands are Coldplay & U2.

21. Lost is my favorite TV show.

22. To me, going to the cinema to watch a great film is absolute magic.

23. January Jones is my future wife. She just doesn’t know it yet.

24. When I marry Miss Jones, she and I will cruise around in my Lamborghini Reventon.

25. Once I awake from that dream, I’ll stop making silly lists like this one and get back to work.
